Which film lover doesn’t like to indulge oneself in a bit of celebrity spotting?
It is that time of year again when Holywood heavy-lifters descend upon Canadian capital for the annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The 45th TIFF programmers have seemingly done a great job this year – the festival has seen numerous world premieres this year (Knives Out, Hustlers, Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Blackbird, Limetown, Dads) and the festival is only three days in! Ikon team prepared a selection of celebrities spotted out and about in Toronto thus far.
AT&T ON LOCATION: Buzzing celeb hub
Antonio Banderas and Pedro Almodovar are in town to promote their latest pic Dolor Y Gloria (Pain and Glory). Long-time collaborators were spotted chatting to the crowd of filmmakers on Thursday night. Oh so casual Sam Rockwell popped by the lounge too.
Pals Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, and Jamie Lee Curtis were seen chilling at the suite of Hotel Le Germain ahead of the premiere of Knives Out.
Among other Brits in attendance is Stephen Merchant who is there to promote his film Fighting With My Family – to be screened during TIFF.
Bryce Dallas Howard is in town ahead of her directing debut – documentary ‘Dads’ that premiered in Toronto on September 6th. Bryce was spotted chatting to her pal Jessica Biel who is promoting her new TV series Limetown, which had its world premiere at TIFF 2019.

Variety hosted a party with Robert Pattison
The star of upcoming Batman sequel, Robert Pattison is enjoying a rather stellar year. Being featured on the front cover of Variety, he hosted a lavish party at the Hotel le Germaine earlier this week.

Celebrity Spotting at The Hollywood Reporter Party
No Film Festival goes without The Hollywood Reporter bash. The 45th Toronto Film Festival was no exception.
Adam Driver and John Hamm are in town promoting The Report that premiered early afternoon today. There will be another world premiere for John Hamm at Tiff – Lucy in the Sky (11 September).
