‘Human rights abuses are rampant under China’s Communist Party’ – nothing new then…
Women in their seventh, eight or even ninth month of pregnancy are being forcibly taken from their homes and strapped to tables where doctors abort their unborn children.
Religious minorities and political dissidents are being imprisoned in labour camps and detention centres, sometimes without reason. Many are tortured for years before they are released. Others are taken to surgical facilities where their organs are harvested while they are still alive.
Investigators: China Still Harvesting Human Organs on Huge Scale
The New York Post recently reported more details about the forced organ harvesting in the Asian country’s prisons. A minority religious group called Falun Gong has been a target of the Chinese government in particular. Many of its followers have been imprisoned and executed, and their organs harvested and sold.
The report has more details:
The Chinese government banned Falun Gong in 1999 and has been mercilessly persecuting, torturing, killing and locking members up in “black jails” — a network of extra-legal labor camps and detention centers established by the Communist Party to detain citizens without charge or conviction.
Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) performs systematic research into the reports of state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting in China from prisoners of conscience.
DAFOH Australia spokeswoman Sophia Bryskine said the organization was “particularly focused on China because, unlike anywhere else in the world, it is the only place where systematic forced organ harvesting continues to occur on a mass, state-sanctioned level.”
“There are no formal laws prohibiting the practice,” Bryskine said.
“In fact, a ‘1984 Provision’ still remains in place, which allows for executed prisoners to be used as donors — in direct violation of all international guidelines.”
Bryskine said the international community needs to take a “much stronger stance … come forward and supply pressure” on the issue.

The International Congress of The Transplantation Society met for the first time in China recently despite heavy criticism. The decision to hold the conference there was made after Chinese officials announced (falsely) in 2014 that they stopped harvesting organs from convicted prisoners.
However, Bryskine told the New York Post that China only said it stopped harvesting organs from executed prisoners who had death sentences. She said the Chinese legal system is corrupt, making it difficult to tell whether organ harvesting abuses are still occurring.
Jintao Liu, 36, once had a difficult time believing China was committing such atrocities. Then, he was imprisoned because he practices Falun Gong. Jinato Liu told the news outlet that he bore two years of torture and abuse in Chines detention centres and labour camps because of his faith.
Oddly, however, he said he and some of his prisoner friends were taken for health checks and tests on a routine basis. Other former prisoners said they also were forced to give blood and urine samples during these health checks.
China: Is the value of a human life equal only to the sum of its parts?
Once while he was being beaten by other inmates, Jintao Liu said he heard someone warn them not to damage his organs.
“Why wouldn’t they say ‘Don’t hurt this person’? Not ‘Don’t hurt his organ.’ I just felt it was strange they care about my organ rather than my person,” he remembered.
He eventually was released, but he said some of his friends in prison were taken from their cells and never returned.
Here’s more from the report:
Another damning report released in June — by former Canadian politician David Kilgour, human rights lawyer David Matas and journalist Ethan Gutmann — shows that organ transplants are carried out in China 10 times more than official government figures reveal.
“The (Communist Party) says the total number of legal transplants is about 10,000 per year. But we can easily surpass the official Chinese figure just by looking at the two or three biggest hospitals,” Matas said in a statement.
These horrific findings are further evidence of China’s complete disregard for the value of human life.
Live Organ Harvesting in China | China Uncensored
Reggie Littlejohn has witnessed many abuses against women and children resulting from the Chinese government’s utter disregard for human life. She is the president and founder of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, an organisation dedicated to ending forced abortion, gendercide and sex slavery in China.
“The Chinese Communist Party believe that people’s very bodies are in the domain of the state,” Littlejohn said. “Whether it’s forcing women to abort babies or forcibly harvesting organs, the Chinese government believes that it owns people, including their very bodies, their internal organs.”
Her organisation is helping to protect women and children from abuses resulting from the country’s brutal One Child Policy (recently changed to a Two-Child Policy). Family planning officials have jailed couples who refuse to comply with the policy, sentenced them to house arrest or labor camps, revoked jobs or governmental support, used physical harassment or violence, targeted other family members and even forced women to abort their unborn babies up to nine months of pregnancy.
“In America, our founders wrote in the Declaration of Independence about ‘unalienable rights’ — God-given that the government cannot take away,” Littlejohn said. “In China, however, the Chinese Communist Party believes that it has the ability to bestow rights or taken them away. In other words, people have no rights unless the Chinese government gives these rights to them.”
