Non-Invasive ‘Fat Removal’ EXILIS Explained by Aesthetics Doctor

Millions of people who eat properly and get regular physical activity, still have stubborn fat deposits that don’t respond to diet and exercise, which can lead to a very frustrating situation. There have been some exciting advances recently in the technologies offered for fat removal. No longer do you have to go under the knife or through liposuction surgery.  There are safe and effective alternatives to help you lose stubborn fat deposits and inches. In the last three decades, manufacturers have introduced a seemingly endless procession of procedures to reduce fat. Non-invasive procedures are the latest advances in fat removal; the Exilis being one particular treatment that is gaining more fans.

Exilis Elite is a non-surgical, non-invasive body sculpting treatment that uses high-intensity ultrasound and radio frequency. These energies are used to tighten loose skin, destroy fat cells and stimulate collagen growth.

We spoke to Dr. Shirin Lakhani – an award-winning aesthetics doctor and the founder of Elite Aesthetics clinic in Kent – about the procedure and how it works.

What Should Customers Know About EXILIS

“Exilis is the preferred option for anyone seeking body contouring, skin tightening and facial rejuvenation without the cost and recovery time of surgery. The heat breaks down cell walls and liquefies fat so it can be removed by the body’s ‘waste disposal system’.” Dr Shirin continued, “this heating procedure will take 4 to 6 sessions lasting from only about 25 minutes each. Up to six areas can be treated in one session, with results visible from as early as the 2nd week.

This is different from ‘fat freezing’ that only takes 1 session and may be preferable to some clients. We offer fat freezing as well as EXILIS at the clinic.

“The procedure is also loved among clients because it requires no downtime- you can get up from your treatment and go right to the gym,“ commented the  doctor. “The lifestyle change recommended to enhance and maintain results is very much possible during the 4-week treatment. Exilis fully facilitates that.”

At the same time, the Exilis Elite is FDA approved and has won multiple ‘Best Treatment’ awards. It is currently the number one treatment system in the USA for non-invasive body sculpting and skin tightening.

The Exilis Elite system has another fail-safe in that it automatically adjusts energy levels as it senses tissue density and depth changes, so more energy would automatically be employed in the area where there is more tissue, and less around any bony structure so as to prevent any over-heating.

“With a built-in temperature monitor and a unique skin cooling feature, the treatment is comfortable. Our clients often describe it as a hot stone massage,” added Dr Shirin.

What Else Can EXILIS Be Used For?

Another treatment that can be carried out using the Exilis is female intimate rejuvenation. A quick, non-invasive treatment that can provide life-changing results. T find out more about this procedure, visit Elite Aesthetics website or give them a call.
