Celebrity Placements: Will This Overpriced Apparel Fly Off the Shelves?

Edited by Tamara A Orlova

Enfants Riches Déprimés translates from the French to “Depressed Rich Kids.” You’re forgiven if you haven’t heard of this relatively under-the-radar fashion label—their clothes come in extremely small quantities, and sell primarily to the richest, most ‘depressed' people on earth, seemingly. Henry Levy - the brand’s 24-year-old founder and designer- is a rich kid himself with ‘complicated and often conflicting relationships with almost everything in his life, from money, to drugs, to celebrity, to his own name’, clearly attempts to reinvent punk and sell it to new generations as something authentic and never seen before.

Alas, the tank top donned by Jared Leto during a Thirty Seconds to Mars show at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theatre lacks novelty – its like a homies' top from ten years ago, but with additional ‘custom’ holes.

Are you prepared to pay $390 for this tank?
