Limelight Film Awards Recognises Up And Coming Talent

The 9th Limelight Film Awards took place in the iconic Guild Hall in the City of London.

The annual awards is the largest independent short film awards programme in the UK, attended by hundreds of film makers, media personalities, industry and corporate heads each year. “Each year we identify and celebrate emerging film talent through the red carpet awards ceremony,” said the founder of the awards Munsur Ali.

Sponsored by Canary Wharf Group PLC and the City of London Corporation the awards took place in the imperial Guild Hall and awarded 20 gongs to filmmakers choosing out of over two thousand submittals.

Best Student Film: Hugo

Best Student Documentary: Another Girl
