HENI has unveiled physical prints for Damien Hirst’s Great Expectations, a follow-up to the artist’s release of 10,000 NFTs in 2021.

Owners of the Great Expectations NFT now have the opportunity to acquire a print of the featured artwork on their NFT. Damien Hirst’s Great Expectations NFT set, a cornerstone of The Currency NFT collection, unveils 10,000 remarkable artworks

These prints, available on HENI Editions, can be purchased between November 9, 2023, and January 18, 2024, until 17:00 GMT. A single NFT can be used for the corresponding physical print purchase, with the NFT being burned in the process, ensuring the uniqueness of each edition.

The prints, measuring 80 x 80 cm, are Diasec-mounted Giclée prints on an aluminium composite panel. Priced at $2,500 (plus applicable taxes), each print bears Damien Hirst’s hand signature on the front and a numbered label.

Damien Hirst’s Great Expectations NFT set, an integral part of The Currency NFT collection, features 10,000 distinctive artworks. These pieces showcase grids of emoji-like pregnant women, meticulously crafted from spots directly extracted from The Currency artworks. The Great Expectations NFT set honours Damien Hirst’s signature visual style, which has been a hallmark of his remarkable career.

I imagine that inside the 12 bellies are 12 gifts representing infinite possibilities. Like Pandora’s box. We are inventing the future together. The possibilities are infinite.”

— Damien Hirst

A variety of colours and distinguishing attributes, including accessories, clothing, facial features, hair, headwear, occupation, and background, individualise the avatars. Rare attributes or combinations make certain NFTs more distinctive and sought-after.
