Countess of Wessex Jane Taylor Millinery store launch in Chelsea

Milliner to the Royals Jane Taylor launched her highly anticipated flagship store, in Chelsea.

Celebrities including Caprice Bourret, Joe Alvarez, Jane’s mentor Theo Paphitis and Dragon’s Den Deborah Meaden were present as well as cast members of Made in Chelsea Louise Thompson, Georgia Toffolo, and Emma Walsh. Presenter Sian Welby and Flexi Foodie founder Julie Montagu were also in attendance.  With Sophie, the Countess of Wessex officially opening the store.

Sophie has exclusively worn Jane Taylor’s designs since 2009. With three new collections every season; Bespoke, Ready-To-Wear and Bridal, there’s something for everyone.  Each piece holds a truly unique and contemporary feel; as Taylor takes inspiration from taxidermy, antique prints and couture designs.

Sadly, we missed the Countess of Wessex; she left before the canapes arrived. Which left more for guests. After a few glasses of bubbly with our dear friends Prince Cassius, Verna Taylor-Baker, Shanie Ryan and Juliet Conway Ikon London Magazine team was off to a West End soiree. We would strongly recommend visiting this parlour before Ascot, or any other night you feel like wearing statement headpiece.

Jane’s work can often be found in Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Vanity Fair, InStyle, Glamour, LOVE, Elle, Stella, Sunday Times Style and Stylist. Jane’s celebrity clientele include pop stars such as Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, model Kate Moss, royal Zara Phillips, Pippa Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and Amal Clooney so you can rest assured you will make your besties gossip.
