Pioneering boutique bowling alley All Star Lanes’s third London location, Brick Lane opened in 2008 and continued to transform what people thought of a night out at the bowling alley with retro luxury lanes, delectable cocktails and delicious Americana food. Now after an extensive refurbishment, All Star Lanes Brick Lane is re-opened with a VIP launch party.

Cutting the big red ribbon in early February, the new refurbishment has been inspired by the smoke-filled speakeasies of Don Draper’s New York City. East London meets Upper West Side with vintage furnishings next to local street art influenced by creative East London.

Capitalising on being in slap bang in the middle of a thriving artistic community All Star Lanes has commissioned acclaimed street artist Zabou, who has been voted one of the Top ten Female Street Artists, to create two bespoke artworks. Art Agency Elegant Clutter is creating a stand-out pin installation above the lanes.

We were treated to an open bar with waitress service and mini burger canapés and plenty of bowling. So we were spoilt rotten.

Reopening early February, the boutique bowling venue promises a transformed restaurant layout, slick new cocktail lounge and a chic private function space entitled ‘The Penthouse’, featuring an intricate Manhattan sky terrace mural transporting bowlers to Woody Allen’s Manhattan.

For those seeking a more exclusive space to practice their strikes, private room The Penthouse has been newly revamped to transport you to Manhattan nights of the 50’s with a striking view of the London skyline. Book this NYC party pad for private lanes, a dedicated mixologist, and lounge with a view.

All Star Lanes will be sending their loyal newsletter readers first access to their Brick Lane re-opening offers as well as giving one lucky reader a £1,000 value party prize for 14. Info and sign up access at https://www.allstarlanes.co.uk/locations/brick-lane
