Catch emerging theatre-makers in action at Collective Fringe 2026, a five-day artist-led festival at Hornsey Road Baths, 21–25 January.

London’s theatre scene kicks off 2026 with a creative bang as Collective Fringe returns this January, putting the spotlight on emerging and early-career theatre-makers. From Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th January, the artist-led festival transforms Collective Acting Studio, Hornsey Road Baths into a hub for experimentation, collaboration, and risk-taking.

For audiences, Collective Fringe offers a behind-the-scenes look at theatre-making, from scratch nights of early-stage work to fully-realised productions. The festival gives emerging creatives the freedom to test ideas, take bold risks, and share their voices with a London-wide audience.

The 2026 programme features powerhouse new works like Ego’s Killing the Mandem (Trybe House Theatre), exploring grief, ego, and systemic bias, RUKHSATI (Tara Theatre), and Asylum King, a darkly funny take on Britain’s asylum industry. With one production still under wraps, the festival promises a mix of energy, experimentation, and stories that challenge the status quo.

Led by Festival Director Paul Harvard, along with dramaturg, producers, and collaborators from leading UK theatres, the festival champions equity, diversity, and inclusion, centering Global Majority artists, disabled artists, and underrepresented voices.

“Collective Fringe is about giving space, time, and belief to early-career voices,” says Paul Harvard. “Everybody is welcome, and we truly mean that.”
