George Clooney Engaged
George Clooney has announced his engagement. Now it seems he will soon be a married man, -despite saying he’d never marry again- after asking new girlfriend Amal Alamuddin to be his wife.
The Gravity actor will be marrying the British lawyer, but as she is not a well-known celebritiy, you may be wondering who exactly she is.
Amal is a Beirut born 36 year old -fluent in French and Arabic- based in London having studied at Oxford and graduated from the New York University School of Law.
She has a string of well known clients including the King of Bahrain and narcissist -and professional moron- Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
She’s a fully published author, and edited a book called The Law and Practice of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. She is also the proud winner of the Jack J Katz Memorial Award; a prize awarded to a student who has demonstrated incredible things in law at NYU. Sounds to me like she needs to get out more, but clever girl nevertheless.
Amal currently works for the Doughtry Street firm in the UK.
