During their whirlwind 36‑hour visit to London, global girl group KATSEYE — the Los Angeles‑based six‑member act formed through the international reality series The Debut: Dream Academy — squeezed in something unexpectedly joyful amid rehearsals, media commitments and preparations for a UK performance: a stop at Jollibee in Leicester Square.
KATSEYE’s lineup — featuring members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States — represents one of the first global girl groups developed through a collaboration between Korean entertainment powerhouse HYBE and Geffen Records, with the formation process chronicled on Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE. They debuted in June 2024 with the single “Debut” and continued to gain international traction with tracks from their EPs, combining diverse musical influences and cultural backgrounds.
Even in the middle of rehearsals, filming, and press interviews, KATSEYE carved out a moment for Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, Peach Mango Pie and UK‑exclusive treats like Spicy Chicken Tenders with Sriracha Mayo and Buldak K‑Spicy Loaded Fries.
