The Miss USSR UK 2014 Grand Final took place in London’s Cadogan Hall, Sloane Street. As one of the judges, it was a difficult job to choose the winner as the standard was very high. Eventually we made a decision. Congratulations to the winner of Miss USSR UK 2014 Roksanna SIjahtitsh from Estonia.
Many special guests attended the Miss USSR UK 2014 Grand Final event including, British presenter ROB LAMARR who hosted the event, yours truly: celebrity photographer and Ikon London Magazine CEO JOE ALVAREZ, MOT, KSENIA BORODINA, VIKTORIYA BONYA, DZHIGAN, SAMUEL , MARINIKA SMIRNOVA, MARIA POGREBNYAK, EKATERINA ELIZAROVA, JULIA ARSHAVINA and many others.
Bringing together the very heart of Russian speaking London, Miss USSR UK presented 30 models from 15 countries, as well as prominent Russian designers and celebrity performers to celebrate the new generation of Russian fashion. This unique conceptual event has attracted significant attention from famous designers, models, media, and prominent public figures around the world.
I have to say that I was honoured to have been asked to be one of the judges. I also presented the Most Photogenic Award to Christina Kovaljova. It was definitely the best event I had the pleasure to attend in years. Look forward to next year!
