For the first time in its history, the OffWestEnd Awards – better known as the Offies – will be broadcast live, opening up one of London’s most important theatre nights to audiences far beyond the room.
The 2026 ceremony takes place on 30 March at Central Hall Westminster, and viewers can watch it online by pre-registering via The Theatre Channel, which is hosting the broadcast in collaboration with ChewBoy Productions.
Pre-registration is required to access the stream, marking a significant shift for the awards, which have traditionally been experienced only by those in attendance.
Founded to champion independent theatre across London, the OffWestEnd Awards recognise work staged outside the commercial West End.
Over the years, the awards have built a reputation for spotlighting shows long before they break into the mainstream, with past winners including Fleabag, Baby Reindeer and Operation Mincemeat. For many artists and companies, the Offies are an early marker of wider success.
The 2026 ceremony brings together nominees from across the Off-West End scene, alongside a live performance programme designed to reflect the range of work being made across the sector.
Hosting the night is Divina De Campo, who opens the ceremony with a specially written musical number.

The line-up of performances includes:
- A physical theatre piece from Skedaddle Theatre’s A Brief Case of Crazy
- A performance of “Nature Boy” by Ilan Evans
- A one-man-band set from Martin Kaspar
- A section from Tones – A Hip-Hop Opera by Gerel Falconer
- A preview of new musical Redcliffe from Jordan Luke Gage and Daniel Krikler
Together, the programme leans into the Offies’ core idea: showcasing work that spans genres, styles and scales, from devised theatre to new musicals.
The awards are presented by OffWestEnd, with support from partners including TodayTix, Royal Variety Charity and Mischief Theatre, among others.
