Poll Names Most Stylish Parents to Be
There may be a few more months to go, but Prince William and his wife Kate have already been voted Britain’s most stylish celebrity parents to be.
The survey, by discount voucher site NetVoucherCodes.co.uk, asked 1000 parents to name the expecting couple they thought were the most stylish.
The royal couple were named by almost a third of all respondents beating off competition from the likes of Fearne Cotton and partner Jesse Wood, as well as David Walliams and wife Lara Stone.
Kim Kardashian and musician Kanye West, whose pregnancy came as a shock to the world of showbiz, just lost out to the number one position picking up 19% of the vote.
Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton and her partner Jesse Wood were voted in at number three receiving 13% of the vote, beating of pop stars, Rochelle and Marvin Humes, who came fourth with 11%.
Former model Sophie Dahl and singer-songwriter Jamie Cullum managed to squeeze into the top five with eight per cent, ahead of comedian David Walliams and Dutch model wife Lara Stone who collected seven per cent of the vote.
Seventh place was taken up royal wedding dress designer Sarah Burton and husband David with four per cent, followed by American stars Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan with three per cent.
Jessica Simpson and her partner came in at eight place with two per cent of the vote, with Peaches Geldof and her husband Thomas Cohen propping up the bottom of the table with just one per cent.
A spokesperson for NetVoucherCodes.co.uk commented on the poll: “It is interesting to see parents perceptions of who they think the most stylish celebrity parents to be are. I was surprised to see that Kim and Kanye came so high up in the order, only just losing out to first place.
“2013 is going to be a busy year for celebrity parents and it is important for them to keep up with their stylish image even after giving birth.”
One parent who took part commented: “I love Fearne Cotton and Jesse Wood’s fashion sense. I can imagine them being the coolest parent around, with other couples being jealous of their quirky style.”
Another respondent said: “Kim and Kanye are definitely the best dressed celebrity couple expecting a kid. The Beckhams better watch out because Kanye will have his child dressed in all the designer brands.”
