Jessica Chastain Steals The Show At Interstellar European Premiere

Jessica Chastain suffered a wardrobe mishap as Matthew McConaughey accidentally trod on her partially sodden dress at the Interstellar European premiere in London last night. 

It all started out well for the Oscar-nominated actress as she posed for us in a beautiful peach Saint Laurent gown. The 37-year-old gorgeous red-head couldn’t have looked more stunning as she sashayed around in her chiffon gown, channelling ballerina vibes in the voluminous creation. Indeed if I ever fell for a ginger woman, she would be it! A sequinned silver strap across her shoulder highlighted her toned arms, but it was her porcelain complexion that made her look distinctly doll-like.

Her auburn locks were styled into a chic up-do that enhanced her flawless makeup, consisting of winged eyeliner and matte pink lips.

But despite the actress being primed and prepped for hours by her -I imagine- Hollywood glam squad, there was one thing they couldn’t prepare for – the great British weather. Despite our glorious summer and autumn, there was a persistent but very fine ‘rain’. 

Jessica’s one-shouldered dress got an absolute soaking as she walked the blue carpet at the premiere of the latest Christopher Nolan film.

The hem of her frock turned a darker shade of pink as the wet carpet did its worst.

But then it got even worse when she went to pose with Interstellar co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.The Dallas Buyers Club actor mis-stepped his positioning and accidentally trod on the actress’ already-wet gown.

Luckily Matthew managed to find his footing and we got a picture of the famous trio – although Jessica’s dress stood out like a donkey in a pub.

Perhaps next time she should go for a midi-dress style like Anne Hathaway. Despite all these slight issues, she did indeed steal the show.
