Vin Diesel at The European Premiere of XXX The Return of Xander Cage
Vin Diesel knows how to make an entrance – and he just about did just that at the xXx Return of Xander Cage premiere this week. Just about as it took him FOREVER to arrive at the premiere. We had a live feed from the heliport in Battersea and they then -eventually- flew off at the speed of a fat cyclist. Yes, he was filming and live streaming this narcissist mini ‘adventure’ but frankly, we had waited too long and didn’t care.
In something totally unlike one of his blockbuster movies, the ‘action hero’ -who was also given a child-like safety briefing live in the ‘Ecureuil 350’ helicopter to our great delight- arrived at London’s O2 tardy for this highly anticipated sequel XXX The Return of Xander Cage in this hired black ‘whirlybird’. As he landed, a huge, fiery version of the movie’s ‘xXx’ title blazed behind the chopper before the leading man stepped out.
Not surprisingly, he looked delighted with his entrance and beamed for the crowd that gathered on Tuesday night.
Looking sharp in a black shirt, trousers, and shoes, Diesel wrapped up and battled the cold winter weather in a long coat. The same cold weather we endured for this ‘lame stunt’ it has to be said. Fans didn’t see anything, only from a screen. He then threw up his fingers in the shape of an ‘X’ as he posed for the cameras with a huge smile on his face. Vin, keep your entrances short, sharp and amazing… And on time. At least the co-stars kept us entertained with their amazing outfits having arrived half an hour earlier by BOAT.
