Irish dance gets a bold, high-voltage remix this week as Emerald Storm, the new show from tap icon and screen star Adam Garcia, hits the West End for a strictly limited run.
Fusing traditional Irish choreography with the raw edge of urban tap, Emerald Storm is not your average heritage dance show. It’s faster, louder, and proudly theatrical — built to make noise and leave a mark.
Garcia, best known for Coyote Ugly, The Serpent Queen and The Bodyguard on stage, co-directs and choreographs this punchy new production, which aims to drag folk dance into the 21st century without losing its roots.

The cast brings serious credentials. Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball provides powerhouse vocals alongside breakout tap star Bayley Graham and Lord of the Dance alum Olivia Graydon. Live music greets audiences on arrival, setting the tone for a night that leans into spectacle and rhythm over story.
Expect thunderous footwork, breathless precision and a finale that leaves no floorboard untouched. And if you’re feeling brave, there’s a chance to dance with the cast after selected performances — shoes optional, rhythm encouraged.
