F1: Ferrari Unveils The F14T
Ferrari revealed their car to the world when they took the covers off the F14T on Saturday.
Named by fans after the year and the new turbocharged era, the F14T was presented online from Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters.
The new car features the sharp dip of the nose, however, unlike its rivals, Ferrari nose dips in front of the front wheels and not at the very tip. The car also has a 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engine.
It has been six years since Ferrari last won a Championship with the Scuderia’s last victory coming in the Constructors in 2008. The year prior they won both with Kimi Raikkonen securing the Drivers’ title.
This season the Finn is back at Ferrari where he will partner Fernando Alonso in what the team hopes will be a Championship-winning combination.
