Nestled in the heart of the Croisette and located five minutes from the palace, the 19th-century mansion, referred to AH Villa during Axel’s 7-day takeover, has become the synonym of decadence, privelege and celebration in style.
Among other causes, the one supported by AH Villa was the charity event for ‘Actors for Peace and Justice’. The Roaring Twenties style dancers – think loosely dangling beads on nude bodies and ostrich feathers – were inviting guests to join the champagne reception at the balcony of the villa and enjoy the picturesque view of the French Riviera and peaceful rose garden. The concept embodies the spirit of The Madrilenian Scene or “Movida” – a hedonistic cultural wave that, among others, inspired director Pedro Almodóvar, the president of the 70th Cannes Film Festival jury.
The guests of the villa, models Emily Ratajkowski, Sara Sampaio, Tamara Dumas, CJ Franco, Olivia Arben, socialites – Hoffit Golan, Lady Victoria Hervey, acclaimed musician Fabio D’Andrea, actors Marisa Saks, Celeste Thorson, celebrity photographer Joe Alvarez among others were in jovial spirits, as they discussed the cause and the latest from the Cannes Film Festival.
