The National Theatre has announced that Lucy Prebble’s captivating play, “The Effect,” in collaboration with The Jamie Lloyd Company, will join National Theatre at Home on January 9, 2024.

Captured during its enchanting run on the Lyttelton stage at the National Theatre in London, this ‘glorious’ (★★★★★ Mail on Sunday) production, helmed by the talented Jamie Lloyd, delves into the lives of two young volunteers engaged in a clinical drug trial. Following a triumphant stint in London, “The Effect” is set to make its mark at The Shed in New York, running from March 3 to March 31, 2024.

Global audiences* are invited to stream the unmissable performances of Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project) and Taylor Russell (Bones and All) in this ‘tender, thrilling, and elegantly brutal’ (★★★★★ The Stage) exploration of love and ethics.
