Production images have been released for Not Your Superwoman, the sold-out world premiere starring Golda Rosheuvel and Letitia Wright at the Bush Theatre in London.

Running until 1 November, the production sees Bridgerton’s Rosheuvel and Black Panther’s Wright take to the stage in a new work by Emma Dennis-Edwards, co-created and directed by Lynette Linton. It marks another major moment for the Bush Theatre, which continues to position itself as a leading home for bold, contemporary storytelling.

The newly released production stills, shot by photographer Richard Lakos, offer the first look at the two celebrated actors in performance. The full gallery is available here and includes intimate images from the production, staged in the Bush’s main house.

Although all performances are currently sold out, the Bush Theatre encourages audiences to join its mailing list via bushtheatre.co.uk to receive first notice if additional seats become available.

Set in the aftermath of a family bereavement, Not Your Superwoman follows Joyce and her daughter Erica as they grapple with grief and intergenerational cycles of trauma. Joyce believes she has given her daughter a better life; Erica isn’t so sure. “Maybe they didn’t break the cycle,” reads the play’s central question. “Maybe the cycle can never be broken.”The production is supported by Charles Holloway OBE, Eleanor Lloyd Productions, and Eilene Davidson Productions.
