Wayfairer Travel, known for its dedication to crafting sustainable and immersive travel experiences, announced a unique conservation-focused photo tour through Zimbabwe’s wilderness.

This 12-day adventure will be led by acclaimed photographer Nick Murray and renowned safari guide Mark Boyd; it promises not only remarkable sightings but also an enriching exploration of wildlife conservation efforts in the region.

Nick Murray, celebrated for his work as a conservation photographer and known for leading David Attenborough during the filming of wild dogs for the BBC Dynasties series, will be at the helm of this extraordinary expedition. With his profound understanding of ecology and conservation, Murray adds a unique depth to the safari experience, guiding guests through the heart of Zimbabwe’s wilderness.
Accompanying Nick Murray is Mark Boyd, a third-generation safari guide and accomplished photographer. Boyd’s expertise extends beyond the lens, as he brings a wealth of knowledge in ecology and conservation, offering guests a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and triumphs of wildlife preservation. Mark is a runner-up for the 2024 Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award.

Guests will spend four nights at the iconic Vundu Camp in Mana Pools National Park under the guidance of Murray and Boyd. The journey continues at Bomani Tented Lodge in Hwange National Park, where Mark Boyd leads expeditions focused on rhino reintroduction efforts, providing guests with intimate encounters with these majestic creatures.

Beyond the thrill of safari adventures, the tour encompasses meaningful interactions with local communities, including a conservation education session for schoolchildren in Mleyu Village. Additionally, a visit to the Giving Circle in Victoria Falls supports initiatives aimed at empowering young girls through education and mentorship, highlighting the tour’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
