British artist Jemma Powell has collaborated with Portofino Dry Gin to create a stunning, hand-painted 5-litre bottle for the Fine Spirits Auction, held at Whisky Live Paris 2024. Powell, renowned for her evocative landscapes, has drawn inspiration from her family’s deep connection to Portofino, capturing its colourful houses and serene coastline. This bespoke bottle will be auctioned to support environmental projects led by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The artwork beautifully reflects Portofino’s charm, blending art and conservation in a unique collaboration.
Powell describes her creative process as deeply personal: “I wanted to create a design that reflects the beauty and stories of Portofino, a place we have been coming to for generations.” The auction, which runs from 28 September to 3 October 2024, will raise funds for biodiversity preservation in Sainte-Marie Island, Madagascar.
