The National Theatre and Neal Street Productions have confirmed the full casting for Sam Mendes’ The Lehman Trilogy, returning to the West End for a strictly limited run from 24 September 2024 to 5 January 2025 at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.

Sam Mendes, an Oscar-winning director known for his work on American Beauty, 1917, and the James Bond films Skyfall and Spectre, brings his critically acclaimed production of The Lehman Trilogy back to London. This monumental play, written by Stefano Massini and adapted by Ben Power, spans over 163 years, tracing the rise and fall of the Lehman Brothers — a story that intertwines personal family drama with the catastrophic financial collapse that shaped global history.

This production has toured internationally, including Broadway, and won five Tony Awards®, including Best Play and Best Director. It explores the lives of the Lehman brothers from their humble beginnings to the tragic 2008 financial crash. Don’t miss this epic tale of ambition, family, and capitalism.
