The cast of Iron Man 3 (minus Gwyneth Paltrow, who couldn’t attend the re-scheduled Thursday 18 April date due to Lady Thatcher’s funeral which I also covered) hit London’s Leicester Square for the swanky launch of what’s bound to be one of the biggest films of the year. 

Robert Downey Jr, oblivious to onlookers, hugged, kissed and then snogged his producer wife Susan while the crowd cheered him on; premieres rarely get this obvious a public display of affection. Get a room Robert! 

Marvel’s Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man -played by ever charismatic Downey Jr- against a formidable enemy. 

When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. The film is released on 25 April. Check out the photos of the cast having fun at the premiere…
