You Me At Six, Taylor Momsen, Marky Ramone & Steel Panther party at the Kerrang! Awards 2014nsupported by Staritsky & Levitsky Vodka.

On Thursday 12th June 2014, the worlds leading rockstars and metallers came together for the 2014 Kerrang! Awards held at London’s historic cinema venue, Troxy.

It was a night of celebration for young Brit rockers You Me At Six at the Las Vegas themed awards supported by Staritsky & Levitsky Vodka.

The five-piece band from Surrey, who were nominated for an incredible five awards, took home the prize for Best Single for ‘Fresh Start Fever’ and Best British Band which was presented by music legends, Steel Panther.

You Me At Six guitarist Max Helyer was also up for the Hottest Male award but he was too modest to claim the title saying his nomination must have been a practical joke.

As soon as the official ceremony was over award winners, nominees and guests took to the red carpet to enter the Staristky & Levitsky Chapel of Love.

Rock and roll marriage proposals were in full swing with Jonno Yates from Blitz Kids and Davyd Winter-Bates from Bury Tomorrow being one of the many unlikely couples to walk down the aisle hand-in-hand into the Ceasars Palace-style Chapel complete with Greecian pillars wrapped in Ivy.

The night of Rock ‘n’ Roll mayhem was hosted by American singer and partygoer Andrew W.K and Anthrax guitarist, Scott Ian.

The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen accepted the award for Hottest Female but Steel Panther’s Travis Haley certainly gave her a run for her money for the best blonde locks of the night. The Gossip Girl favourite opted for a tame night and headed home early for some beauty sleep ahead of Download Festival.

Congratulations were in order for Deaf Havana who took to the stage to accept the award for Best Video for ‘Boston Square.’ Bass guitarist Lee Wilson said “it was a very proud moment” for the band who officially came together in 2005.

In true Vegas style the alter was transformed into a retro mirrored bar complete with a ‘priest’ who served Staritsky Vodka Moscow Mules and spent most of the night pouring vodka straight into the mouths of the hardcore rockers such as Mikey Chapman from Mallory Knox who was the first one to it!
