Nose Dive Assembly: Birds of a Feather swoops into the Brighton Fringe this May, bringing a whirlwind of energy, humour, and spectacular circus feats to The Circus Yard from 2nd May to 1st June 2024.
Known for their boundary-pushing performances, Revel Puck Circus takes things to new heights in their most ambitious show yet. With a blend of thrilling acrobatics, irresistible characters, and jaw-dropping stunts, Nose Dive Assembly will keep you on the edge of your seat—whether you’re watching the Wheel of Death Duo spin at dizzying speeds or witnessing gravity-defying acrobats take flight!
The story kicks off with Pierrot, the flustered mistress of ceremonies, trying—unsuccessfully—to keep things together. While her circus troupe defies gravity, she’s stuck on the ground, unable to break free from her own doubts. Enter Pegasus (Peggy)—her mischievous, red-feathered drone companion. Peggy is the ultimate bad influence, pushing Pierrot to leap into the unknown, one ridiculous stunt at a time. As the circus builds around them, Pierrot begins her journey to conquer fear, embrace chaos, and soar.
It’s a show that’s as much about the process of overcoming failure as it is about the joy of taking risks. Pierrot’s journey to fly is a rollercoaster of emotions—full of flailing, falling, and soaring, as she learns that failure isn’t a setback but a step toward success.
But it doesn’t stop there. The Circus Yard will also host a stellar lineup of circus and cabaret performances throughout May, including:
