
The Jubilee Russian Charity Ball took place at the regal Drapers’ Hall, London. The event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the London School of Russian Language and Literature and
10th Anniversary of the Eurolog UK Association attracted Russian expats and socialites including Olga Bramley, Deputy Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea Gerard Hargreaves, Artist Sergey Pavlenko, celebrity photographer Joe Alvarez, model Tamara Orlova-Alvarez Archibishop Elesey of Sourozh,and artist Philip Firsov among others.
Set to promote Russian culture abroad, the London School of Russian Language and Literature prides itself for pushing the envelope in the field of cultural entertainment. And this special Jubilee Ball wasn’t an exception.
Guests were treated to a Champagne reception followed by an exquisite dinner and lively performance of opera singers, accompanied by British Imperial Orchestra.
Russian actor Regina Myannik took to the stage to recite the Russian poet Blok, following by the ballet performance courtesy of the soloists of the Moseyed Ballet – who performed and absolutely incredible dance routine called ‘Gaucho’.
The celebration, supported by Helen Bubnova, Anglia Newspaper, Ikon Magazine, Kartina TV, Mery-Sony, “Love in Сhocolate”Matryoshka Radio, Rossotrudnichestvo, The Embassy of the Russian Federation, Pushkin House, Profile Russia and Rucconect, continued late into the night with more performances by Russian opera singers Evgeny Yuzhin and Yulia Snezhina.
