Slava’s SnowShow, the Olivier Award-winning theatre sensation, is coming to Richmond Theatre from 5–9 November 2025. This multi award-winning production combines comedy, spectacle, and a final snowstorm that leaves the audience literally knee-deep in snow.
Since its UK debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996, Slava’s SnowShow has performed in over 225 cities worldwide. This year’s touring company includes Slava Polunin (for select performances), Vanya Polunin, Artem Zhimo, Aelita and Bradford West, Francesco Bifano, Yury Musatov, and Christopher Lynam. Together, they bring the troupe’s trademark blend of chaotic clowning and visual theatre: giant balloons, spiders’ webs, coat racks on railway platforms, and surreal, playful tableaux.
The story unfolds without words, relying on movement, music, and visual spectacle. The show invites adults and children aged eight and over to immerse themselves in a snowy, whimsical world. Children under three are not admitted.
Slava Polunin, the show’s creator, says: “Clowning is much more than laughter — it’s about seeing life from a poetic perspective, finding joy in the simple, the absurd, and the unexpected.”
After Richmond, the UK tour continues to Cardiff, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, York, and Bradford, giving audiences across the country a chance to see the show.
