GOLDA, a captivating musical about a Ukrainian refugee’s journey, will premiere on 28 November at The Tabernacle Theatre in London, UK.
GOLDA leads audiences on an emotional journey through the life of Golda, a talented Ukrainian singer and composer of Jewish descent, confronting the devastating impact of war in her homeland. Forced to flee, Golda embarks on a quest for refuge in a foreign land, carrying the fragments of her shattered dreams and the unwavering spirit of her Ukrainian heritage.
The cast of GOLDA
Golda (Tatiana Amirova), a finalist of The Voice Ukraine, brings the immersive narrative to life with her captivating voice and original compositions. Infusing jazz and Jewish folklore, she has garnered acclaim worldwide, performing in France, Germany, the US, Israel, Kazakhstan, and Moldova. Golda’s unwavering dedication to reviving Jewish musical culture adds depth and authenticity to the portrayal of a Ukrainian artist in the GOLDA production, navigating displacement and finding solace through her art.
Joining Golda on stage is a talented ensemble of musicians and dancers, each contributing their exceptional talents to bring this poignant story to life. The production is masterfully directed by Pavlo Bondarenko, an internationally acclaimed Ukrainian choreographer, and produced by Alexandrina Markvo, the creative producer and director of Bird & Carrot Productions.

Dress designed by David Koma
Adding an extra layer of elegance to this remarkable production, Golda’s lead dress has been designed by the renowned fashion visionary, David Koma, who was deeply moved by the importance of supporting this production and the powerful message it conveys.
David Koma is a Georgian-born, London-based fashion designer. His collections feature in London Fashion Week and he has worked with many celebrities to design red carpet looks, including Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Cara Delevingne, and Kendall Jenner.
Charity donations
In a gesture of solidarity and support for those affected by the ongoing conflict, all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Ukrainian KINDERVELT fund, an organization dedicated to providing immediate psychological support to children traumatized by the war in Ukraine.
