Three top shows coming to Richmond Theatre this autumn
Richmond Theatre has three very different productions arriving over the next few months, making for an interesting autumn season. From a high-energy musical set in a pub to a classic Noël Coward comedy and a new theatrical production, these are three shows to look out for.
The Choir of Man
25 August – 30 August 2026
Nine performers, a live band, plenty of singing and dancing, and a pub at the centre of it all. The Choir of Man combines live music, comedy and choreography with songs ranging from traditional folk to rock and Broadway favourites.
The show follows a group of men who gather in their local pub, with the evening unfolding through music, stories and plenty of audience interaction. Expect a lively night out rather than a traditional sit-down musical, with the cast performing both on stage and around the pub setting.

Present Laughter
22 September – 26 September 2026
Noël Coward’s much-loved comedy follows Garry Essendine, a successful and self-assured actor whose life becomes increasingly complicated as he prepares to leave for an overseas tour.
What should be a straightforward departure is disrupted by a series of visitors, admirers, old friends and romantic complications. As Garry tries to keep control of the situation, his carefully managed world begins to unravel, making for a sharp comedy of manners packed with wit, misunderstandings and theatrical chaos.

The Brown Suite
2 October – 3 October 2026
The Brown Suite is a new production bringing a very different kind of comedy to Richmond Theatre. The show centres on an unusual situation that brings its characters together, with relationships, personalities and tensions gradually coming to the surface.
