Forty years into his career, Charlie Baker returns to the stage with GO GET IT, a high-energy new tour blending sharp midlife observations, musical comedy and unapologetic showmanship.
From tales of middle-age mishaps to dazzling physical routines, Baker turns life’s small humiliations into big laughs. Fans know him from talkSPORT and Virgin Radio UK, where he co-hosts Game Day Warm Up and Hawksbee & Baker. On air, his quick wit keeps listeners entertained, but on stage, the performance scales up — combining storytelling, tap dancing, trumpet playing, juggling, and musical flourishes into a seamless evening of comedy.
The show draws on decades of experience, with Baker dissecting misplaced confidence, male bravado, and the gap between who we imagined ourselves to be and who we’ve become. Yet the joke is often on him. Past tours, including 24 Hour Pasty People, and screen appearances on Doctor Who, The IT Crowd, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and Richard Osman’s House of Games, showcase his versatility as both a performer and storyteller.
