Ahead of its Gala Night, feast your eyes on these gorgeous images from Richmond Theatre’s Cinderella, where one determined heroine, two absurdly scheming sisters, and a fox with a habit of stealing every scene collide in festive chaos.

Richmond Theatre’s 2025 pantomime Cinderella promises a Christmas outing that is as magical as it is mischievous. This year, Cinderella navigates her very unusual household, ruled by her hilariously over-the-top sisters Hernia and Verucca, with Basil Brush creating havoc at every opportunity.

The production’s cast blends familiar TV faces with acclaimed musical theatre talent. Helen George, best known as Nurse Trixie Franklin in Call the Midwife, makes her pantomime debut as the Fairy Godmother, sprinkling magic, charm, and perfectly timed advice. Charlie Stemp, Olivier-nominated West End and Broadway star, charms as Buttons, juggling comic chaos and heartfelt moments with flair. Hope Dawe shines as Cinderella, a heroine with heart and determination, while Tom Major brings princely elegance to Prince Charming, and Michael Lin impresses as Dandini, delivering smooth, musical-theatre energy throughout.
