The New York fashion brand Kate Spade shared its Christmas Disco video featuring singer Sophie Ellis Bextor with their client base.
With new socialising restrictions looming and the new virus variant on the rise, it seems our Christmas might be in jeopardy again. Kate Spade came to our rescue by offering its followers an online Christmas Disco fix courtesy of British singer and mother of five Sophie Ellis Bextor.
The video shared via private link features the best of Sophie Ellis Bextor’s hits as well as our favourite Christmas tunes. The host of the Disco can be seen dancing around the Christmas tree, showing Christmas Gifts for her family and mixing cocktails.

“One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Kate Spade was my childhood memory when my mom took me to New York to Kate Spade store. Since then, Kate Spade became a synonym for luxury for me.” Sophie is doing a great job of keeping viewers entertained – not an easy task when you are the only person in the room with cameras around you.
Our Editorial Team’s favourite moment is when the songstress was tasked with making Candy Cane Martini but wan’t told the recipe. “In my family, it’s my husband Richard who always makes cocktails”, said the host. Despite having messed up some proportions, Sophie’s cocktails – we are sure – came out just fine, with a dash of her wit and sense of humour.
Candy Cane Martini Recipe
- 1 ¼ ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 ¼ ounces white crème de cacao
- ¾ ounce peppermint schnapps
Mix all spirits together and shake well with ice. Serve with Christmas Candy.
