The Norwegian Hand Bags designer Bergen Brand’s UK celebrated its launch in London, at Wolf & Badger. The launch party was attended by Joe Alvarez, Raef Bjayou, Billy Murray, Tamara Orlova-Alvarez, Marcus Schenkenberg, Naomi Isted, Liz McClarnon, Olivia Arben, Craig McGinlay, Jean Beauvoir among others, and the brand designer Renate Stormare was also in attendance. 

New in the most dynamic fashion capital, the brand enjoyed a warm welcome from fashion enthusiasts, who together with celebrities and press celebrated the launch.

Bergen Brand is a young brand from Bergen, Norway. Bergen itself is a historic coastal town in western Norway with roots reaching back to the Viking and Hanseatic eras and is often referred to as the cultural capital of Norway. The latest star studying the city’s vibrant art and design scene is the independent design company Bergen Brand. 

Owner and designer Renate Stormare told Ikon London Magazine that she is strongly influenced by her hometown’s past. She seemingly enjoys great success in combining historic elements with modern design. The range includes handbags, belts, and fine accessories. All products are handmade using top end quality leather, with the whole production process – from material selection to finished – price meticulously and lovingly crafted by the designer herself. 

The collection is a desirable addition to Wolf & Badger’s carefully chosen portfolio of independent luxury brands, we were told by the store representative.
