Congratulations to former Miss GB and reality TV personality Cally Jane Beech, who geared up for her new shoe venture with Solewish.
The star-studded launch at JuJu was attended by Cally’s avid supporters including Olivia Buckland, Pascal Craymer, Louise Goodman, Lady Nadia Essex, Vicky Pattisson among others.
Cally Jane Beech about designing her shoe line
Ikon London Magazine learned that Cally insisted to play a pivotal role in designing her own line. “I never studied fashion design”, commented the brunette, “but I had a clear image in my mind of what I wanted”. The bombshell continued as she picked up the golden shoe with transparent PV inserts: “I enjoy combining different styles and materials, as you can see in this number for example.
“I wanted to create footwear that would look high end, without the high-end price tag.” Indeed, her ‘cruelty-free’ faux suede & faux leather footwear can be bought online starting from £35. Sure to steal the show wherever she appears always looking dressed to the nines, Cally manages to keep it classy. Her footwear is also, so Cally.
As the aspiring designer revealed to Ikon London Magazine, having started as a model and subsequently won numerous beauty pageants back in 2012 she soon found herself in the midst of one of the most talked about Reality TV shows. Unlike some reality TV stars, who – it appears – want to be famous for the sake of it, Cally took very smart approach: “Everyone joins Reality TV to develop themselves in some way”, says model, “and so I wanted to use my exposure and create my own line.” There you go, Cally Jane Beech is not only gorgeous and very personable but also a very clever girl.
“I didn’t want to just stick my name on the random brand, as some people might do; so I was very lucky to be able to collaborate with Solewish, who gave me the freedom to experiment and actually suggest my designs.” The gorgeous host has also dropped a hint regarding more upcoming designs, due to be revealed in October. Well, she got us hooked.
And of course, we couldn’t resist asking about her relationship with Luis Morrison, the Love Island sweetheart of Cally’s. “Oh, it is still going strong”, she admitted, and as if guessing our next question she reiterated: ”and yes, he is coming to join us later on, just running a bit late”.
We all know that the launch is only the beginning of a long journey, and a reason to celebrate of course. And that’s exactly what girls did right into the late hours of Wednesday.
