Nine extraordinary voices, world-class tap, and a community sing-along – the Olivier-nominated smash hit is hitting the road, and you’re invited to join the fun.
If you’ve been craving a night of singalongs, laughter, and pure theatre joy, 2026 is your year. The Olivier Award-nominated musical The Choir of Man is hitting the road for its very first UK & Ireland tour, bringing its on-stage pub, The Jungle, and its foot-stomping cast to cities across the country. Richmond audiences can catch the show from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 August.
Set in a lively pub, The Choir of Man follows nine (extra)ordinary men who combine soaring harmonies, tap routines, and witty storytelling. The UK & Ireland tour cast features Gustav Melbardis as the charismatic Maestro, Oluwalonimi (Nimi) Owoyemi as the Poet, Levi Tyrell Johnson as Hard Man, and Ben Mabberley as Joker, with Rob Godfrey, Jack Skelton, Joshua Lloyd, Sam Walter, and Aaron Pottenger completing the line-up. Swings Sam Ebenezer, Jared Leathwood, Niall Woodson, and Lewis Dragisic keep the energy flowing across the tour.

Fans can expect a setlist bursting with hits from Queen, Adele, Sia, Guns & Roses, Paul Simon, Luther Vandross, Avicii, Katy Perry, and more – all with the infectious energy of a pub singalong. And yes, there’s even free beer for that authentic on-stage pub vibe.
This year, the show introduces the Jungle Choir Community Project, a nationwide initiative inviting local choirs to take part in the opening night in every city. Participating choirs will receive discounted tickets, rehearsal materials, and a chance to sing in the show’s finale, celebrating music, connection, and local talent.
Nic Doodson, creator and director, says, “The Choir of Man has always been about individuality, generosity, humour, and the joy of making music together. Every city has its own musical heartbeat, and welcoming local voices into the show is a powerful reminder of why this piece exists: to celebrate community and the extraordinary feeling of singing together.”
After sold-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House, tours across the US and Europe, and a four-year West End run with over 1,000 performances, the show is ready to charm a new generation of audiences. Whether you’re a theatre regular or just in it for the fun, The Choir of Man promises a night full of laughter, energy, and pure communal joy.
Tickets are on sale now via local theatre box offices and online. Choirs interested in taking part in the Jungle Choir Community Project should email officeassistant@kennywax.com.
