MGM drops first trailer and character posters for ‘House of Gucci’, a film that will revisit the in-family politics surrounding the murder of Maurizio Gucci the bitter fight for power and greed within the Gucci clan.
The latest flick by Ridley Scott ‘House of Gucci’ is set to be released in US theatres later this year, in November is inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.
Penned by Becky Johnston and Roberto Bentivegna, the plot will unearth the scandalous story that has almost been forgotten by fashionistas and fashion icons of our day and age. With stellar cast including Lady Gaga (Stefani Germanotta), Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Salma Hayek, Jeremy Irons and directed and produced by Ridley Scott himself, the film is creating some serious waves among film lovers.
The UK release date is not yet confirmed.
