The affordable luxury brand Rohmir celebrated its 10th anniversary with an AW17 fashion collection showcase. The ROHMIR AW17 collection titled El Castillo Secreto: A Magic Journey is heavily influenced by Olga Roh’s fascination with classical and timeless fashion. As the name suggests, the collection embraced the motifs borrowed from Spanish style of yesteryear and Flamenco in particular.

Strong silhouettes combined fitted trousers and skirts that flared from the knee, tailored jackets and long lace and organza frocks. The ponchos and tailored coats with intricate golden embroidery had a very Hispanic feel to them and fitted well with the passionate Flamenco performance by Ruben Molina.

Each model was made up with a flamenco and ‘classic Spanish’ inspired beauty look and the collection reflected this with a colour palette of reds, golds, and blacks as well as baroque inspired florals in mustard tones.

There were flourishes of accessories such as neck scarves, veils, fans and corseted waist belts but each look was polished with an air of aristocratic perfection with the hair and makeup as well as hanging earrings, pearl-studded hats and red flowers placed delicately behind the models’ ears.

Who is the founder of ROHMIR Baroness Olga Roh

Rohmir is a luxury brand created by former Valentino and Versace model Olga Roh, who is also a direct descendant of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. It is not surprising that the Rohmir 10th-anniversary show was attended by Swedish Royals and aristocrats, prominently taking the first row.

Olga’s passion for timeless feminine looks puts her on par with the main couture fashion houses and definitely was a contributing factor in Rohmir’s rapid expansion in Asia and Europe. Rohmir has stores in London, Berlin, Zurich and Hong Kong and has prime minister Theresa May among its loyal customers.
