Having just returned from summer holidays, the London fashionista crowd and press were treated to yet another unforgettable festivity; and not just some festivity, it was PPQ’s very own version of la Fiesta incorporated in PPQ SS17 collection.
The British Fashion Council’s main London Fashion Week schedule designer has managed to capture the very essence of a ‘Spanish fiesta’ – celebratory and vibrant. The abundance of luxury silk with playful prints was streaming down the belted waists while ruffled hems and taffeta scarves transitioned us to the atmosphere of carefree summer celebration. The front row, buzzing with fashionistas, celebrities and the usual ‘reticent’ press, met the PPQ collection with great applause.
I recall talking to Percy Parker in mid-July when the designer admitted the work on SS17 collection hadn’t started yet. Fast track less than two months later, a flamboyant and panache PPQ SS17 catwalk was awesome. It couldn’t have been any other way, of course, it’s PPQ.
Celebrities at the PPQ SS17 Fashion Show after-party
Celebrities including Tallia Storm, Lizzie Cundy, Laura Pradelska and Kimberley Garner have joined us at pre-show reception with Artisan Caviar and refreshing cocktails. The fiesta continued at the Tramp Club where the showbiz elite and fashionistas enjoyed champagne and sumptuous canapes. At the after-party, we were joined by likes of Laura Pradelska, Pandemonia, Daniel Lismore among others who came to congratulate Percy Parker and Amy Molyneaux with yet another success.
