The exhibited contemporary artist and art lover Olga Lomaka was celebrating the opening of her gallery in central London. Known for her art collection Artefacts exhibited in London and Monaco, Olga Lomaka marked a new milestone in her career. Having previously collaborated with Harper Bazaar Art and Vogue Fashion’s Night project, Olga is taking art seriously and with business acumen.
The Lomaka Gallery, located in the heart of Fitzrovia, central London, aims to collaborate with some of the most distinctive and innovative artists. “Being an artist and art collector, I am truly passionate about supporting artists purely based on their talent and ability,” Ms. Lomaka told Ikon London Magazine. She continued, “ I know that it is really hard to get the opportunity to exhibit in London and I want to provide a dynamic open platform to my peers. Support of small emerging artists is the best way to invest in the future of art.”
On the opening night, the gallery presented a selection of artworks by established and talented emerging artists from around the world. Amongst guests were socialites, fashionistas, art critics as well as collectors and entrepreneurs. The event was organised by the communication agency FashionPRBuro and supported by TV channel FashionTV.
The opening night attracted the Capital’s most stylish set: world-renowned celebrity photographer Joe Alvarez, TV host, and blogger Prince Cassius, models Olivia Arben and Tamara Orlova-Alvarez, actor Malcolm Modele as well as creative duo Joe Wolfe and Johan Labassa. In addition to this influential line up were designers Joshua Kane, Cynthia Conran and Maria Zherebtsova.
Several curators and renowned collectors were spotted at the event such as gallerist Benjamin Fry, art expert Ariane Belisle, art patron David Gigauri, Margarita and Alyona Prykhodko of Sybarite Jewellery. Stylist Verna Taylor-Barker and Svetlana Zakharova also came to congratulate Olga Lomaka on the debut of her contemporary art gallery.
The unique exposition of Lomaka Gallery comprises works of Colombian artist Albeiro Tomedes, Swiss artist TP Hardisty, and the artistic Russian duo Tvorogov Brothers. Art admirers were also treated to a video performance of extravagant French actress Olya Mareva. To top it all off was a special invitation by gallery founder for all artists to attend the party, present their works whilst enjoying sparkling wine and a DJ set.
The exhibition at the Lomaka Gallery is open until 30th. 11.00am – 6.00pm.
