Internationally renowned and multi-award-winning design house Taylor Howes celebrated its 25th anniversary with the launch of its first-ever capsule furniture collection Love of Dusk as brand ‘expands beyond luxury residential sector’.

Press and loyal Taylor Howes customers were invited to celebrate the occasion together with the owner and mastermind behind the brand Karen Howes. Among attendees was even Karen’s first ever customer – speak about long-term relationships!

The guests were treated to Pommery champagne and sumptuous canapes. For one evening only, the basement office of Taylor Howes was transformed into inviting ‘sweets bar’ with luxury sweet delights.

The 13 statement furniture pieces are the material form of the Taylor Howes renowned design philosophy; an underlying structure of perfect proportion and immaculate symmetry, enriched through the poetics of colour, exceptional craftsmanship and exquisite materials. Important to note that all furniture is produced in Britain.

Each statement piece possesses the same transformative qualities, setting the scene for glamorous, elevated living. Striking lines and graceful curves; rich navy blue, a colour synonymous with Taylor Howes, opulent gold and copper for trims and detailing. Specialist artisans were selected to develop hand-crafted finishes including aged-silver leaf dégradée, hand-dyed parchment and gold-thread ombré.

After successfully designing interiors around the world and a popular lighting collection in 2014, Taylor Howes for the Urban Electric Co, this new capsule collection is set to raise the benchmark for luxury furniture.

A key piece in the collection is the Midnight Sofa, built around a solid wood frame with a deep seat and low back cushion for supreme comfort, this collection piece carves a graceful silhouette in a rich midnight blue velvet fabric, accented with a studded rose gold metal trim.

The decorative cushion in Midnight collection features ‘golden’ owl from Chanel earlier sketches and completed in golden threat.
