Chopard Capsule Fashion Collection
On the occasion of Paris Fashion Week, Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director
of Chopard & Caroline’s Couture, unveils an exceptional collection in which Haute Joaillerie
creations perfectly harmonise with Couture gowns, creating a series of complete silhouettes
inspired by an impressive 6,225-carat rough emerald. This extraordinary gemstone, extracted
from the Kagem mine in Zambia, was acquired by the Maison.
After three years of meticulous craftsmanship, the Maison has achieved a true technical and
creative feat with the launch of two collections centred around the Insofu emerald: a collection
of 15 stunning Haute Joaillerie creations by Chopard—featuring five pairs of earrings, five
necklaces, three rings, one bracelet, and a watch—enhanced by five silhouettes designed by
Caroline’s Couture.
With this capsule collection, Caroline Scheufele sought to revive the essence of the rough
emerald from which it all began—its hues, its inclusions, its magic, and its depth—preserving
the spirit of this majestic gemstone before it was cut.
Once again, Caroline Scheufele has surrounded herself with the finest artisans in Europe and India
to create unique pieces. Whether it be highly specialised lapidaries from India or the remarkable
embroiderers of the Kalhath Foundation artisans in Lucknow – India savoir-faire and the excellence
of the Métiers d’Art come together to offer two collections that are as breathtaking as they are
complementary.
“I wanted to take on a new challenge: to get out of my comfort zone; to extend the Chopard universe to Couture; to develop fabrics with colors reflecting those of the precious stones in our jewelry; to collaborate with artisans as talented as our jewelers; and to imagine dresses and models perfectly in harmony with my Haute Joaillerie collections.”

The collection captures a moment in time, translating the extraordinary hues and inner radiance
of the Insofu emerald into a selection of couture fabrics: delicate silk gauze, silk cady, and printed
taffeta.
A subtle touch of pink runs through the collection, echoing the bold colour combinations seen in
High Jewellery creations.
From jewellery to couture, the most meticulous creative process has given rise to truly unique designs.
The Insofu collections will be presented by appointment at Hôtel 1 Place Vendôme on March 6th
and 7th, 2025.
