Punk And Pop Coming Together: Pam Hogg AW16 London Fashion Week

If anyone is planning to wrap up in layers this autumn, Pam Hogg AW16 is clearly not the collection to go for. Her clothes were never meant to hit the high streets. She almost exclusively collaborates with big-name fashion multi-brand store Browns and directly with big names such as Kylie Minogue, Debbie Harry, Jessie J, and Rihanna. Pam Hogg is truly an icon of punk and new romantics. Who else if not Pam Hogg had to pay tribute to David Bowie using his song as a soundtrack.

The British-born designer has managed to yet again impress us with her AW16 collection. Team Ikon have attended the show where on the front row we were joined by such names as Nick Grimshaw, Jo Rhodes and Joe Wood.

The AW16 line is as punk as it can get – latex tops, trousers and coats are heavily studded with spikes. Predominant colours are winning black and gold. The previously well-explored pop theme has also echoed in a few pieces in AW16 line – the gold and multi-coloured latex catsuits.

Red coats, bright yellow bell skirts, and matching yellow and green two-piece suits broke up the largely black collection.
